Grabyo integrates with Threads!
We’re excited to announce that Grabyo is one of the very few partners selected by Meta for the initial integration with Threads, the latest social media and networking service from Meta Platforms. This exciting development allows our clients to seamlessly upload videos and images directly to their Threads accounts, expanding their content delivery options and enhancing their social media strategy.
What is Threads?
Threads is an innovative platform operated by Meta Platforms, designed for dynamic social interaction and direct integration with Instagram. Users must have an Instagram account to sign up, with their Instagram handle and username unified across both platforms. This integration means that the content you create and share on Instagram can seamlessly extend to your Threads profile, enriching your social media presence.
Key Features of Grabyo’s Integration with Threads
Direct Content Upload
Our integration allows our customers to upload videos and images directly to their Threads accounts from Grabyo Studio, our cloud-native live clipping and editing platform. Sharing to Threads is seamless, with content published directly to your Threads feed. This feature supports both scheduled posts and creative sets, giving our users flexibility in how they manage their social media content.
Easy Integration Process
Adding Threads to your Grabyo account is simple and intuitive. You can do this via the integrations sidebar from the top navigation or by selecting “Add Integration” in Live Clipping, Editor, or the Campaigns page. The integration process involves a quick authorisation flow through Meta, after which you’ll be ready to start sharing content.
Limitations and Considerations
While the integration is robust, there are a few limitations to be aware of:
- GIFs: Currently, Threads does not support GIF uploads.
- Video Length: Videos must be less than 5 minutes long.
- Interlaced Videos: Threads does not support interlaced videos.
- Image Size: Images must be less than 8 MB and may be scaled if larger than 1440/320 pixels.
- Text Limit: Text accompanying posts must be under 500 characters.
