Like other social platforms, LinkedIn supports RTMP live streaming, however has some recommended specifications, which we will cover below.
Creating a LinkedIn live stream
To go live to LinkedIn, you’ll need to set up a custom RTMP stream in Grabyo, which takes just a few simple steps.
First up, you need to create a custom stream page on LinkedIn – for more information on how to do this, check out this LinkedIn help article.
During this process, you will generate a Stream URL and Stream Key, which you’ll need to set up your stream in Grabyo.
Next, you need to set up a custom RTMP destination in Grabyo. You can walk through the steps to do that in this Grabyo knowledge base article.
Once you’ve done this, you can start your stream within Grabyo and you’ll see the preview on your LinkedIn stream page. From there you click ‘Go Live’, and you’re away!
