The Coastal Athletic Association chooses Grabyo for social video highlights, fan engagement and athlete NIL programs
The Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) and 12 of its member schools have selected Grabyo as the exclusive live clipping and distribution platform to deliver live social video content and instant game highlights from across its multiple collegiate sports leagues.
CAA and its schools will use Grabyo Studio to immediately engage with fans by creating and distributing big game moments in real time. In addition, the conference will be able to maximize sponsorship opportunities and NIL initiatives for athletes through Grabyo’s platform.
Delivering real-time social video
The CAA and each school will ingest live game feeds into Grabyo from stadiums and venues throughout the conference, allowing the Athletics department personnel to create clips in horizontal, square and vertical formats, and publish in real time to YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, X and Snapchat – thanks to Grabyo’s native integrations with these channels.
Grabyo’s cloud video platform, which is easily accessed from a web-browser, allows Sports Information Directors (SIDs) to create video content from any location. This enables athletic departments to simultaneously cover multiple teams, games and athletes, without having to physically be present at the stadium or venue, which is ideal for covering away games, event conflicts and for reducing travel budgets.
CAA and its members will be one of the first to fully leverage Grabyo’s new multi-stream live clipping feature (MLC). MLC allows users to monitor and clip and publish from multiple live video feeds in one view, enabling athletic departments to cover more sports, and fixtures, without additional resources.
Creative content, video editing and enhanced NIL strategy
The CAA and members will utilize Grabyo Studio’s custom markers to mark up key game moments in live streams. SIDs will then use those markers to send clips to Grabyo Editor to create compilations during the live game for distribution to social and digital platforms immediately after the game.
All real-time clips and video edits will be published with custom branding and stingers to ensure every school, and the CAA, can meet marketing and brand objectives with video content. And with Grabyo’s native integrations with social storage and syndication partners such as Greenfly, Inflncr and Socialie, colleges are able to rapidly share content with their athletes to support their NIL initiatives.
In addition to the conference office, the 12 athletic departments (+ conference office) benefiting from Grabyo’s advanced technology are:
- College of Charleston
- Drexel University
- Elon University
- Hampton University
- Hofstra University
- Monmouth University
- University of North Carolina Wilmington
- Northeastern University
- William & Mary University
- University of Richmond
- Villanova University
- Towson University
“We are honored to partner with the Coastal Athletic Association and its member schools,” said Mike Kelley, President of Americas and APAC at Grabyo. “We are committed to empowering sports organizations with technology that enhances their content strategy and equips their athletic departments to meet their objectives and reach fans on every platform, while providing more value to their sponsors.”
“We are thrilled to collaborate with Grabyo and provide our schools with their powerful video production tools to create and share dynamic content in real-time,” said Joseph D’Antonio, Commissioner of the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA). “This partnership aligns with our commitment to delivering an exceptional fan experience and growing the exposure of the CAA across the country.”
