Grabyo to unveil broadcast-grade live production workflow at NAB Show 2022

At NAB 2022, we will debut our cloud-native, broadcast-grade live production workflow, as we introduce SRT and Zixi streaming alongside a number of new capabilities to our leading cloud video platform.

Since the last NAB Show two years ago, we have been making significant strides in rebuilding the traditional production control room in a virtual, cloud-based environment. The Grabyo platform provides a collaborative set of tools for scaling production services whilst removing the overhead for customers to manage complex cloud-infrastructure for video production.

The Grabyo platform is unique in that it is the only cloud video service that offers live clipping, video editing and live production tools in a single platform, built natively in the cloud on Amazon Web Services (AWS). We have built a suite of live broadcasting tools – including a browser-based control room, multiviewer, audio mixer, stream synchronization and multi-platform streaming that is integrated with a range of video capture and transport services from the likes of LiveU, Dejero and Haivision

Grabyo was built to enable broadcasters and media organizations to create video content from any location for digital and social distribution. These video tools have now expanded in scope to lay the foundation to augment and replace traditional linear broadcasting infrastructure.

Grabyo Producer, our live production platform, has been upgraded to support the distribution of high-fidelity video streams in SRT and Zixi format, built on AWS MediaConnect. Alongside the introduction of instant ISO recording, we have reached a milestone in what we call ‘decentralizing and democratizing live broadcasting, making it accessible to everyone, everywhere.’

Alongside our live broadcasting upgrades, we will be showcasing new features that take advantage of distributed video production workflows in a web browser. Our remote guest contribution app, which allows production teams to bring in remote presenters and talent, now has lazy talkback and intercom features, facilitating communication between production crews and on-air talent.

Part of our platform’s appeal is its ease of use – with intuitive design that removes the need for extensive training. We have released a number of UX and scene-building tools that brings drag-and-drop functionality for positioning, cropping and remodelling assets for live productions.

We have added TikTok and Instagram to our extensive list of social media integration partners that features YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, Twitter and Snap

We were chosen in an exclusive group to launch the TikTok Video API, allowing third-party providers to publish video content natively to TikTok accounts.

For our live clipping platform, we have recently released multi-track audio clipping which will also be on show at NAB 2022. As part of the platform’s compatibility with SRT, Zixi, RiST, HLS and RTP streams, our users can now ingest multiple audio tracks and choose which one to use for publishing and downstream delivery.
