Goodwood partners with Grabyo to deliver content to fans using cloud technology
Goodwood’s Motorsport Content Team, has partnered with Grabyo to streamline video production, management and distribution for its three headline motorsport events: Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard, Goodwood Revival and Members’ Meeting.
The weekend of Friday 17 – Sunday 19 September sees the return of the Goodwood Revival to the Goodwood Motor Circuit in West Sussex. The only historic race meeting to be staged entirely in period dress, the Revival sees a return to the days of Goodwood as the spiritual home of British motor racing when the track was used for motor racing between 1948 and 1966.
Throughout the event, Goodwood’s Content Team will use Grabyo’s Studio platform to clip, edit and distribute content to its production teams, Partners and enthusiasts in a fully cloud-based workflow, maximizing its assets and aligning its branding across every platform. Using Grabyo, Goodwood’s production team is able to create clips optimized for every platform and channel.
Grabyo’s remote production capabilities will allow its video team to create and share content from anywhere in the world, equipping Goodwood’s wider Content Team with engaging video experiences to deliver to fans, while offering increased inventory to partners.
Creating video content in real-time, and making it accessible to anyone, anywhere, Goodwood is able to offer increased digital activation opportunities for Partners, who are able to deliver co-branded video to their own channels, maximizing their exposure.
The upcoming Goodwood Revival will be livestreamed, bringing the event to fans worldwide. Speed matters on social media and this partnership will enable the Content Team to create, package and distribute content as quickly and efficiently as possible.
This event is the second in the ongoing partnership between Goodwood and Grabyo following the Festival of Speed in July.
“Working with Grabyo has allowed us to maximize the potential of our video content to increase our reach and drive engagement with motorsport fans. The ability to host our workflows in the cloud has enabled us to increase the speed in which we both create and deliver our content, giving a better experience to both our fans and partners.”
Ben Miles, Digital Content Manager, GOODWOOD.
