SET Expo 2024 Recap: Grabyo and partners
Last month, our team enjoyed a productive and energizing trip to São Paulo for SET Expo 2024. We connected with many of our partners and customers to discuss current opportunities for cloud video production, remote production and distributed workflows across LATAM.
We took the chance to collect thoughts and insights from across the show floor, plus give you a virtual tour of what was on offer at SET Expo 2024.
1. Grabyo supports broadcasters and media orgs in LATAM
First up, take a tour of our booth with Sam Vissotto, our Director of Business Development for LATAM. Sam explains how we support many major brands in Brazil and LATAM to scale their live video output.
Next up, Mike Kelley – our President of Americas & APAC. Mike talks us through the current trends he’s seeing in Brazil for live clipping and live streaming, plus how our customers use Grabyo to reach and engage audiences across multiple platforms.
2. AWS x Grabyo: Robust, powerful cloud video production workflows
Our platform is built on AWS infrastructure, and Boris Kauffman, Solutions Architect for AWS, demonstrates a fully cloud-based, end to end live video workflow. See how to create a live signal, monitor its performance and deliver it everywhere, including affiliate distribution and TV 3.0.
3. Remote production opportunities with Grabyo and Haivision
Ítalo Marinello, Sales Lead for LATAM at Haivision, talks us through the remote production opportunities for organizations across Brazil LATAM. Ítalo has extensive experience building end-to-end workflows using our cloud video production platform and Haivision’s contribution, encoding and transport tech.
Hear from Joao Carlos Haidar, Sales Engineer for Haivision, on how we can decrease the cost of production and increase the quality of live output using SRT transmission via Haivision and Grabyo.
4. UFC, Globo, CNN Brasil & SBT share Grabyo-powered video workflows
We also hosted a fascinating panel session with Grabyo customers UFC, CNN Brasil, Globo and SBT. The panel was moderated by Eduardo Taboada, Operations Manager at SBT.
It was great to hear from Daniel Mourão, VP of Marketing and Digital LATAM for UFC, exploring how UFC’s global social team uses Grabyo to deliver real-time highlights and live video.
We heard from Marcos Petry, Head of Video Platforms & CDN at Globo, who outlined how Globo leverages Grabyo to reach audiences on every platform and device with real-time video.
Plus, Henrique Simões, Digital & CMI Executive Director at CNN Brasil, explained how the news broadcaster delivers real-time updates and news packages to audiences across digital and social media.
We had a blast at SET Expo, and would like to thank all of our partners, customers and friends who connected with us at the show. If you didn’t get the chance to chat to us, or you’d like to carry on the conversation, get in touch with us here.
We’ll end on some of our evening activities – dinner and drinks!
