Winning the social World Cup. What sport dominated this summer?

It wouldn’t have been a true summer of sport without a World Cup. Wimbledon has come and gone, the Ashes are won and the football season is just starting to gather some momentum. So, what other sport dominated this summer?

Down Under the England Women’s Netball team battled their way to a third-place finish in the Netball World Cup, the premier competition in international netball.

Whilst the dominance of Geva Mentor’s team on the court saw them match their 2011 World Netball Championships performance with a bronze medal, off the court the Roses led the way too. The ten-and-a-half-thousand miles and nine-hour time difference that separates London and Sydney means that you probably will not have seen much about the 2015 tournament. With matches being played around the time we were getting up to head into work, it is great to see how England Netball have embraced social video to bring their fans with them on their World Cup journey.

Take a bow Clipology.tv*. Both online and offline, well done #Roses!
