SAILGP DELIVER REAL-TIME HIGHLIGHTS DURING SEASON FINALE
Bringing fans closer to the dramatic finale of the SailGP season
SailGP is the most technologically advanced global sailing league in the world. It’s fast, dramatic and exciting for fans to watch. To bring the live-action to the fans, SailGP partnered with Grabyo ahead of the 2019 finale in Marseille, France.
Grabyo’s cloud video platform enabled the drama to unfold in the hands of fans, with live clips edited and delivered to Twitter and Facebook within moments of them happening. Fans across the globe were able to keep up to date as events unfolded on the water.
One of the finale’s most exciting moments was a risky manoeuver by the Australian team which led their boat nearly touching the Japanese boat at high-speed. SailGP was able to clip and distribute the excitement within moments, bringing the action to the fans, encouraging them to engage on social media and feel part of it.
