Vegas Live Casino Network brings the casino floor to a global audience with Grabyo

Across every industry, organisations are looking for new ways to extend the value of live experiences beyond the people physically present in the room.

Sports leagues are building direct-to-consumer and FAST channels. Entertainment brands are creating always-on digital programming. Venues are exploring how live experiences can reach audiences far beyond their four walls.

Now, the casino industry is beginning to do the same.

Vegas Live Casino Network (VLCN) is pioneering a new approach to live entertainment, transforming real casino gameplay into a professionally produced digital experience that can be watched by audiences anywhere in the world.

Broadcasting live from the Plaza Hotel & Casino in downtown Las Vegas, VLCN gives viewers the opportunity to watch real players gamble for real money across blackjack, roulette, baccarat, craps and slots, capturing the atmosphere, unpredictability and excitement of the casino floor in real time.

To bring this vision to life, VLCN partnered with Grabyo, using its cloud-native production platform to produce, clip and distribute live content efficiently without the complexity and cost traditionally associated with broadcast operations.

Reimagining the casino experience for the digital era

For decades, casino gaming has been something audiences experience in person.

While casinos have embraced digital technology in many areas, few have explored how live production and streaming can transform the casino floor into a destination for digital audiences.

VLCN saw an opportunity to change that.

The team wanted to create a live viewing experience that felt authentic to the energy of Las Vegas while operating with a lean production model that could scale over time. They also wanted every broadcast to generate more than just a live stream, creating highlights, recap content and social media moments that could continue attracting audiences long after the live event had ended.

Working alongside Grabyo, VLCN set out to:

  • Build a scalable model for future programming and audience growth.
  • Produce high-quality, multi-camera live casino broadcasts from the Plaza Hotel & Casino.
  • Stream authentic casino gameplay to audiences worldwide.
  • Create clips, highlights and recap shows from every live broadcast.
  • Operate a flexible, cloud-based production workflow without a large on-site crew or traditional broadcast infrastructure.

From casino floor, to live production studio

Using a lean multi-camera setup and dedicated production gallery, VLCN captures live blackjack, roulette and other gaming experiences directly from a purpose-built, casino floor.

The result is a broadcast environment that preserves the authenticity of the casino experience while delivering the production quality audiences expect from modern live content.

“Las Vegas attracts people from all over the world who want to experience the excitement of the casino floor,” said Stephan Shelanski. “Our goal was to create a space where that energy could be captured and streamed live, giving viewers the next best thing to being there.”

Stephan Shelanski · Executive Producer and Director, Vegas Live Casino Network

Working with the Plaza Hotel & Casino, VLCN created a dedicated environment designed specifically for live production, allowing a small team to manage professional-quality broadcasts without the need for extensive on-site infrastructure.

Rather than treating streaming as an add-on, VLCN has effectively transformed the casino floor into a daily live content operation.

VLCN delivers six hours of live casino gameplay every day

Each day, VLCN broadcasts up to six hours of live casino gameplay from the Plaza Hotel & Casino.

Using Grabyo’s live clipping workflow, the production team can monitor the stream in real time, identify key moments and create digital markers throughout the broadcast.

This allows standout moments to be quickly surfaced, clipped and repurposed without requiring editors to be physically present at the venue.

“At the end of each day we produce a 30-minute recap show featuring the most exciting moments from the stream,” Shelanski said. “Grabyo allows us to mark those moments in real time and quickly turn them into content for our audience.”

What begins as a single live production becomes a broader content operation, generating live programming, highlights, social clips and daily recap content from the same workflow.

Extending the value of the broadcast through highlights

For VLCN, the live stream is only part of the story.

Short-form clips and highlights help extend the value of every broadcast, creating additional touchpoints for audiences and providing new opportunities for discovery.

Key moments from the casino floor are clipped and shared on YouTube, helping viewers discover the content and join the live experience. Familiar faces from the gaming community regularly feature in broadcasts, while VLCN plans to expand distribution across additional platforms including TikTok and Instagram.

“Highlights allow us to capture the most exciting moments and share them quickly across social platforms,” Shelanski added. “They’re a powerful way to bring new viewers into the experience.”

This approach reflects a broader shift taking place across media and entertainment. Organisations are increasingly looking beyond the live event itself, focusing instead on how a single production can generate content for multiple audiences, platforms and formats.

A glimpse into the future

“What’s particularly exciting about VLCN is that they’re thinking beyond the traditional boundaries of broadcasting,” said Grabyo’s CEO, Gareth Capon. “They’re treating a physical venue as a content destination, creating live programming, highlights and digital experiences from a single production workflow. It’s a great example of how organisations can reach new audiences and create more value from the experiences they already own.”

VLCN’s success demonstrates a broader trend emerging across media, entertainment and live experiences.

Audiences increasingly expect access to content wherever they are, on whichever platform they choose. As a result, organisations are looking for new ways to turn physical experiences into digital ones, extending their reach far beyond the people who can attend in person.

What VLCN has built is more than a live stream.

It’s a blueprint for how venues, entertainment brands and experience-led organisations can create scalable digital audiences, generate more content from every production and unlock entirely new ways to engage fans and viewers around the world.
