Introducing the new Producer workspace: a powerful, flexible interface for remote live production
Grabyo’s upcoming release brings a host of new features in a brand new user-interface to Grabyo Producer.
Next week, Grabyo will release a host of new updates to Grabyo Producer, including a redesigned workspace with powerful new feature upgrades.
Grabyo works collaboratively with partners to shape its roadmap and streamline live production workflows in the cloud. With feedback from event producers, Grabyo is excited to announce a number of changes to the Producer interface that will simplify live production for all its users.
This release will give Grabyo partners even more flexibility in the way they work. All of the new updates to Producer are designed to save valuable space in the workspace, while offering more relevant information and options to users.
Here is a snapshot of what you can expect to see when you login next week:
Managing media assets
Managing live video sources and media assets will become much easier during live broadcasts, with the new ability to resize and hide production layers. Users will be able to focus on the assets and live sources they need, with the ability to quickly identify active sources and layers with the new virtual LED indicators.
This update also removes much of the friction when editing multiple sources, as users are also able to edit individual sources much faster than before within the Producer sidebar.
Production teams are able to work collaboratively in real-time on live events, with each individual user able to customize their own workspace to suit their specific role.
Scenes and layouts
Producer’s new flip-flop mode will allow users to push a scene to their live program output, while taking the layout of the live program back into the Producer workspace preview for editing.
This allows production teams to more easily switch between scenes and sources, making rapid tweaks to program feeds or reducing the time to recreate a layout, or switch rapidly between two scene layouts or camera feeds.
Users are also able to copy their live program and bring it back into the Producer workspace without changing the live program.
