NETWORK 10 ENHANCES DIGITAL, SOCIAL AND MOBILE CONTENT STRATEGY
Replacing SnappyTV in Early in 2019, Grabyo partnered with Australian broadcaster Network 10 to evolve its digital, social and mobile content strategy.
Using our cloud video platform to replicate its broadcast news content from programs such as The Project, Studio 10, and 10 News First, Network 10 was able to adapt their strategy to become digital-first.
Going first on social, in an optimized format and then in real-time, the platform enabled Network 10 to broadcast live to Facebook and Periscope, including its breaking news updates and near-live news clips.
The network’s most popular clip of 2019, taken from an episode of Studio 10, was an interview with ‘the world’s most modified youth’, and explored body modification. The clip achieved almost five million views across Facebook and Twitter to date, generating over 42K engagements.

Its most popular 2019 broadcast was a live, uninterrupted interview from The Project news show, between journalist Waleed Aly and the Australian Prime Minister, Scott Morrison. The half-hour interview was broadcast to Facebook Live and achieved over 320,000 views and over 5,000 engagements.
Using Grabyo, Network 10 was able to reach large audiences by utilizing channels outside of linear broadcast. These channels encouraged fan engagement, with the ability to comment making fans feel part of the discussion. This directly contributed to the growth of Network 10’s social channels.
