BTN delivers real-time video to 14 schools using Grabyo Studio

Big Ten Network (BTN) uses Grabyo to share video with fans across social channels and provide access to real-time video content for its 14 schools across all sports and athletics. Currently producing and sharing over 1,000 videos each week, BTN and its member schools have dramatically increased video output since partnering with Grabyo.

Recognising the need to engage fans across all social and digital platforms, BTN use Grabyo to distribute video clips to each school, allowing them to share with their fans across their own social profiles, as well as publishing clips on BTN social accounts. Through Grabyo BTN and its schools currently share video to over 230 different Twitter profiles.

Video is a key driver of engagement for fans across social platforms, and an increasingly important component of each school’s digital engagement strategy. BTN has been using Grabyo heavily to share clips and highlights from the college football season but has big plans to increase the amount of content available from basketball, track, crew and all collegiate sports as me move further into 2018.

BTN now has the flexibility to create clips and highlights directly from live feeds and optimise these for playout on social platforms and mobile devices. Through Grabyo, BTN and its schools can share video to over 230 Twitter profiles – ensuring fans from every sport can receive content directly to their mobile devices.

Grabyo provides BTN with the ability to generate additional revenue from social video through Twitter in-stream advertising (formerly Amplify). With a direct integration through the Grabyo Platform, both BTN and its schools are able to instantly monetize clips shared to Twitter with a single click.

BTN also makes use of Grabyo Mobile to create clips and live content directly from sports and athletics events. With the ability to access all Grabyo content from the Grabyo Mobile app, BTN and Big Ten schools are able to access any previously created content to share out to various social channels instantly.
