About CloudLab
Grabyo CloudLab is a program to teach and upskill women within the broadcast and media industry on the power of cloud-native live video production and distribution.
Digital transformation is happening everywhere, not least in the media, entertainment and broadcast sectors, and we’d love to equip women in the industry with the skills to harness the power of cloud production.
The Training Course
This training module will introduce the basics of cloud production and distribution utilizing Grabyo’s platform.
After completing the course, students will be able to confidently contribute to a cloud-based live production in multiple roles, with additional skills in live clipping and distribution to every digital destination.
Those who successfully finish the training will also receive a certification badge to put on their CV and social media.
The Sessions
Modules in each session will begin with tuition and then hands-on practice with guidance.
Session 1
Theory and breakout sessions with hands-on experience
- Introduction
- Grabyo Producer: Introduction to live production
- Audio Mixer: Introduction to audio mixing
- Replay: Introduction to replay operation
- Graphics: Introduction to broadcast graphic overlays
- Studio & Editor: Introduction to live clipping and editing
Duration: 4 hours
Session 2
Producing a live show
- Session 1 refresher + additional practice sessions
- Taking part in a live production
- Producing a live darts match
- Setting up the production
- Rotating through each role during the production
- Wrap-up, questions and demonstration
