The Challenge
Being a younger, progressive University, USF is at the forefront of progressing its digital presence and looking for new ways to create opportunities for its shareholders, fans and student-athletes.
With teams and athletes representing the university across 21 different sports, in multiple locations on any given day, USF needed a solution that enabled its SIDs and digital teams to cover each event simultaneously and create content for its social and digital platforms.
The university also wanted to strengthen its offering in the new NIL landscape in college sports, providing value by delivering content and aiding its student-athletes in building their brand.
The Solution
The University of South Florida adopted Grabyo Studio to cover all of its sports, allowing its team to clip, edit and post highlights from multiple broadcast feeds in real-time, while allowing its staff to work on other elements of their roles.

The Results
In 2021, the University of South Florida recorded that over 70% of all its video views came directly from clips created using Grabyo. The team has been able to increase its output and scale its production capabilities by streamlining the process.
Instead of downloading, editing and uploading content to each platform individually, a process that would take around 20-30 minutes, USF’s team have reduced its distribution time down to just a few minutes.
Fans that can’t attend its games or access the broadcast stream now have immediate access to highlights and key moments from across every sport, creating deeper connections and promoting the athletes of the university.
