Back in 2014, we worked with The BRIT Awards to bring viewers exclusive live content from the star-studded award ceremony via a unique Twitter Amplify programme.
Now, we’re back providing real-time highlights from the biggest pop music event in Britain!
Videos streamed to Facebook
Over the course of the night, you can expect to see The BRIT Awards using Grabyo to gives fans behind-the-scenes insight direct from the red carpet. With a live-stream of the red carpet being exclusively streamed to Facebook, fans will be able to see the very best moments straight to their Twitter and Facebook timelines in bite-sized clips. From whose arriving and wearing what, to musicians thoughts on their award chances to their excitement about the night ahead – it will all be clipped to The BRIT Awards social video channels, powered by Grabyo.
BRIT Awards 2016 – Social video platforms
The BRIT Awards 2016 will be aired live on ITV, but global audiences can catch the action, including performances from some of the biggest names in music such as Justin Bieber, Adele and Coldplay. Clips of the key moments from throughout the night will be sent straight to The BRIT Awards social media platforms, meaning fans can stay up-to-date on-the-go via their mobile devices, and simply click a link at the end of the clip to watch the entire live-stream over on YouTube.
Each year, The BRIT Awards is one of the biggest events on social media. Last year, the Awards became the most tweeted about (non sport) UK TV show ever – with 7.8m global tweets sent about the event and 11 million people reached on Facebook – and with 2016 being the Awards most digital year ever, that number can expect to be beaten.
When moments and events happen in the music industry, social video within the music industry is a great way to help conversations thrive online between like-minded fans. We are looking forward to helping The BRIT Awards and music fans around the world connect with one of the greatest events in the music calendar.
