To create an engaging stay-at-home experience for Australians during COVID-19, Network 10, in partnership with Tourism Australia, used Grabyo Producer to deliver a special interactive live broadcast of The Love Australia Project to Facebook Live.
In order to comply with advertising regulations, Network 10 needed to replace the show’s live TV ad breaks with bespoke content for its social broadcast.
The network took this opportunity to encourage active participation from the audience and extend the content beyond standard programming.
Using Grabyo’s integration with never.no’s audience engagement platform, Network 10 replaced the show’s ad breaks with live polls over the Facebook Live broadcast.
This interactive element of the broadcast allows for a more communal viewing experience, encouraging discussion, engagement, and longer watch times on the broadcast.
Network 10’s team faced the challenge of producing the social broadcast entirely remotely. Using Grabyo Producer, the team could manage every element of the show in the cloud. The only equipment required was a laptop and an internet connection. Using Grabyo, Network 10 was able to create interactive and engaging content for its viewers while keeping its staff safe, while creating additional value for its sponsor partner Tourism Australia.
Network 10 used Grabyo Producer, Grabyo’s advanced live streaming platform, and Never.no’s Bee-on audience engagement platform to produce the broadcast. Accessed through a web browser, Grabyo’s intuitive design required minimal training and set-up to use.
