JANDA PRODUCTIONS GROW SOCIAL REACH OF THE NEW ZEALAND TV AWARDS
Janda grew social reach by creating and distributing real-time video content
janda Productions, owners of the annual New Zealand Television Awards, increased the social reach of its 2019 awards show with real-time social video and influencer syndication.
For the 2019 Huawei Mate30 Pro New Zealand Television Awards, janda Productions wanted to increase the reach and awareness of the awards ceremony. To allow fans to access the content from anywhere in the world, they developed a mobile-centric strategy.
Using Grabyo to clip, edit, and share clips to social media within moments of them happening, allowed Janda to bring the awards straight to the fans. Supplemented by live social updates to create a comprehensive experience for fans.
As she accepted her award for Best Presenter: News & Current Affairs last night, @1NewsNZ‘ @Hilary_Barry acknowledged reporters from all networks who worked on the ground in Christchurch to cover the March 15 Terror Attacks.#mate30pronztva pic.twitter.com/sBZovOu1ui— NZTVAwards (@NZTVAwards) November 22, 2019
The production company increased exposure for the event sponsors with branded video bumpers, automatically adding these to clips distributed through our platform.
Using influencers was a key pillar to the strategy of the award’s evening. As branded clips were created, they were distributed to high-profile influencers via Grabyo. Sending these clips directly, encouraged engagement by influencers with increased followings, reaching a larger and highly targeted audience than just that of the awards channels.
Distributing content quickly ensured that fans were going directly to their channels during the awards ceremony to keep up to date with how the evening was unfolding. Using a combination of video content from acceptance speeches and targeted influencers allowed janda Productions to capture fans from across the globe.
