LITTLE DOT STUDIOS AND THE TELEVISION ACADEMY DELIVER VIDEO CONTENT FROM THE EMMEYS®

70 of the biggest moments from the 71st Emmy Awards clipped and delivered to global audiences

To deliver highlights of the 71st Emmy® Awards, Little Dot Studio and the Television Academy partnered with Grabyo. Real-time clips of the ceremony were distributed to social channels, engaging with audiences like never before. Major moments were served to fans as they happened, allowing fans to feel part of the action.

Segments of acceptance speeches and award announcements were used, but some of the best-performing pieces of video content on their social channels were the behind-the-scenes and in-the-moment clips. Achieving over 190,000 views on twitter, the embrace between the Killing Eve co-stars Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh was one of the best-performing clips of the evening.

Using Grabyo, Little Dot Studios added Television Academy and Emmys branded video bumpers. These were added automatically to each clip that was shared to ensure they remained on-brand and increased awareness of the event.


Another functionality Little Dot Studios leveraged was Grabyo’s integration with Brightcove. This allowed for clips created to be instantly sent to the Television Academy’s content management system. The Television Academy archived the clips for future purposes and posted them to their website and social media platforms. This allows content to be re-surfaced throughout the year and maintain engagement on the channel including birthdays and national holidays.

Using Grabyo, Little Dot Studios were able to deliver clips of key moments throughout the evening to audiences all over the world. Keeping the strategy simple and effective.
