BT Sport used live streaming and real-time video across social media to extend its broadcast of UFC 205, McGregor v Alvarez – producing complementary experiences for fans on social, driving strong growth in both broadcast and digital engagement.

By live streaming the pre and post fight press conference between Conor McGregor and Eddie Alvarez through Periscope Producer and Facebook Live, BT Sport was able to increase the broadcast experience for fans across the entire UFC 205 event weekend.
