How to increase customer engagement with Facebook Live

Since Facebook introduced its Facebook Live streaming platform in April, the growth of live video content across social media has been staggering.

Content published to Facebook Live has a higher engagement rate when viewed live and in the moments immediately after the event. Despite each broadcast lasting for less than 30 minutes, these events combined to generate over 20,000 interactions on Facebook as fans were able to instantly react to the draw, engage with each other and create real-time commentary to go alongside the broadcast. This type of live interaction is becoming increasingly important to sports fans using social media.
