Meet with Grabyo at IBC 2017 to see the latest developments in cloud-video production, editing, and distribution. Experience first-hand how our tools have helped the world’s leading broadcasters and rights holders activate and monetize digital and social audiences.
As audiences continue to cut the cord with traditional linear TV programming, broadcasters are looking at digital, social and OTT platforms as a way to extend the reach and scope of their productions, engaging and monetizing a larger and readily scalable audience in the process. Alongside this, social channels present innovative publishers with the platform to create new, interactive, audience-first broadcasts at a fraction of the cost of a traditional TV show.
The Grabyo team will be located in Hall 14 at Booth K17, and will be on hand to live demo our capabilities. This includes Grabyo Producer, our browser-based production suite that enables the creation of a live broadcast from multiple inputs, locations, VOD assets and mobile feeds while overlaying lower third (or full screen) web graphics and images, plus real-time moderated comments from Facebook/Twitter/Periscope and polls.
Find out how FC Barcelona, beIN Sports USA and BuzzFeed have used Grabyo Producer for live broadcasting to YouTube, Periscope and Facebook.
Product Update: VR360
Team Grabyo will also be on hand to showcase the launch of our latest capabilities, the support for live and on-demand 360 video and the addition of automated clip creation directly from Grabyo to social and digital channels in real-time.
Launching at IBC, Grabyo partners will have the ability to broadcast live to social and digital platforms in 360 video format. Live 360 video is currently supported by Facebook, YouTube and Periscope, allowing broadcasters to bring a unique viewing experience to fans across multiple platforms and devices.
VR360 enables broadcasters to produce an engaging and immersive video experience that is set apart from traditional linear viewing. Live 360 has gained popularity in recent months with major promotions from Facebook and YouTube. It allows the viewer to move around the camera without limits, giving them control of what they see. Major VR360 productions for sports have been seen in 2017, such as BT Sport streaming the 2017 Champions League Final – between Real Madrid and Juventus – live to YouTube in 360 format.

Supporting VR360 ensures Grabyo partners continue to stay ahead of trends in video production and distribution. As a video format, VR360 encourages direct audience engagement and has a reported 30% higher ‘repeated view rate’ than traditional video.
Product Update: Data Integrations and Automated Clip Creation
Grabyo will launch the first iteration of our new product that supports third party data integrations and automated clipping at IBC this year. This new capability includes an integration with OPTA Sports, using live sports data to create automatic highlights from event-based triggers.
Grabyo partners will be able to create automated clips using OPTA data either from a live game OR from previous games stored in the Grabyo DVR. Clips are created from pre-determined events such as goals, cards, saves, penalty decisions and offside decisions, enabling users to instantly publish clips from match campaigns to social and digital channels.
As finding new ways to activate audiences across social and digital and OTT platforms becomes increasingly important, meeting Grabyo at IBC is a great opportunity to discover how our existing live streaming, editing and monetization capabilities, alongside our new features can become an integral part of your team's workflow.
